Welcome to Highland Peaks, Dunedin, A brand new luxury lodge featuring panoramic mountain and sea views, privacy and peace - yet right next to the city.
Located between the city and the airport, we are set on a ridge with 21 acres of country grounds and native forest. Cafes and facilities 7 minutes drive. Enjoy the beauty of the country while visiting Dunedin and its internationally famous wildlife.
Guest Accommodation and Facilities
Our modern European styling creates a warm, light, relaxed ambiance. Built from natural stone and native timber, Highland Peaks is eco-designed for sun, views and energy conservation. All three suites have views and really comfortable super-king or king beds. All have TV's, phones, DVD players, tea/coffee making facilities, fridges, ensuite or private bathrooms with spa baths, and luxury amenities.
Lodge guests can dine in-house by arrangement or at a wide range of superb local restaurants. We feature fine NZ cuisine and wines. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, nibbles and wine are available.
On-site are a hydrotherapy massage spa pool, walks and mountain bike tracks. We have friendly farm animals which you can hand feed. Guest numbers are limited for optimum personal service. Peter, an ecologist, is a former director of New Zealand's National Trust and is happy to share his extensive knowledge of New Zealand's natural heritage, and help plan itineraries. We can also provide exclusive personal guided eco-tours to penguins, albatross and other wildlife. Qualmark rating 4 Star Plus.
