Welcome to Cromwell Motel, we have 11 spacious ground floor units set in a park-like 2 acres of grounds, amongst beautiful and peaceful Central Otago mountain surroundings.
Our spacious, refurbished units are fully self contained. Choose from studios, and 1, 2 & 3 bedroom units, sleeping up to 7. There's ample parking space for cars, trailers, boats & trucks parking is also available directly outside your unit, some with carports.
Outside there's a children's play ground and outdoor swimming pool. A large BBQ area in the gardens is great for the family or a group function, with a capacity to host 70 people.
All our units include:
- All ground floor units with fully-equipped kitchens.
- Showers and bath, Sky Television and free wireless internet access.
- Electric blankets, hair dryers.
- Free gas BBQ, free laundry facilities.

- Large parking areas suitable for trucks, boats etc. Some with carports.

Complimentary bikes are available for use while you're staying at the Motel and a Continental & Cooked Breakfast service is available, while charge backs from local restaurants can be arranged for our corporate guests.
Cromwell Motel is centrally located on the corner Barry & Gair Ave, situated 1.3km from the turn off from State Highway 8A. From here you can walk to Old Cromwell Town, Lake Dunstan and the Shopping Mall.
Take a step back in time and stroll through Old Cromwell Town , wander through the Mall, stop in at the Visitor Information Centre and the museum, enjoy a drink at one of the many cafes or venture further afield to Luggate, Tarras, Bendigo, Lowburn, Bannockburn, Stewart Town or the Nevis Valley.
Just a 45 minute drive from Queenstown, Lake Wanaka and 20 minutes to Alexandra. Along your way you will drive past some award winning wineries and many local fruit producers with road-side stalls.
