Christchurch Guesthouse The Grange is a Historic Victorian mansion house in the centre of the city. The Grange was originally built in 1874 and has been tastefully refurbished and extended to include newer apartments, whilst still retaining it's historic grace and style. It's location make it an ideal accommodation for visitors who want to stay within strolling distance of the city's attractions.

The Grange is five minutes walk from Cathedral Square, Arts centre and markets, Christchurch convention centre and the city art gallery.
Close to the Botanical Gardens and River Avon.
Overlooking park and situated on the historical tram route.

Bed and Breakfast
We have a wide range of spacious and smaller sized bedrooms in our bed and breakfast accommodation. Christchurch city tends to be tranquil, so although we are centrally based, you will enjoy a good nights rest, and peace and quiet!
All rooms are freshly decorated, with ensuite bathrooms, hairdryers and televisions, and one room has a private sunny balcony providing views over the front garden and nearby park.
Apartments
The addition of the new wing has enabled us to provide additional options for our guests in the form of one-bedroom and studio motel style apartments.
One Bedroom Apartments
Our four one-bed roomed motel apartments are situated on the ground floor. They are designed with:
Lounges equipped with comfortable sofas, dining tables and chairs
Kitchenettes with microwave, hob and refrigerator
Large bi-fold doors leading out to a sunny sheltered courtyard.

Studio Apartments
Our four studio motel apartments are situated on the first floor. They are designed with:

Dining areas with dining tables, chair and sofa
Kitchenettes with microwave, hob and refrigerator
Large bi-fold doors open onto private balconies
For your comfort and convenience, all of our apartments are equipped with:
