Absolutely brand new and purpose built, this unique French styled seaside B & B hotel, located in Sumner, provides chic, superb quality bed and breakfast accommodation, affordable for both local travellers and tourists. Small in size but big on quality hotel standards and service, the B&B is a stylish all seasons retreat. Guests are assured of friendly service, a touch of France, and private, secure, comfortable hotel lodgings, at a very reasonable daily tariff: $125.00 per room, inclusive of a served petit dejeuner(breakfast).
Situated in Sumner, the popular beach resort 20 minutes from Central Christchurch, Le Petit Hotel B & B guests benefit from its unique sheltered location, adjacent to the sandy, north facing beach of Sumner Bay. Surrounded by the rural countryside of Banks Peninsula, the suburb enjoys a mild warm microclimate, and the healthy environment of clean, fresh, sea air. Numerous cafes and restaurants near the hotel will satisfy all tastes.
Architecturally designed, the new boutique B&B hotel provides 6 French styled and furnished bedrooms, each complete with en-suite facilities and an individual balcony with sea views or terrace areas on the ground floor. European accommodation comfort: cool in Sumner and warm in winter. Other design features include shuttered French doors and windows, flag stone flooring in the hotel dining salon/lounge, and a common area for guests to relax in.
In keeping with Euro style accommodation, all rooms in the private hotel have tiled en-suites, centrally heated water radiators and double glazing. The hotel provides free broadband WiFi and cable internet access, while IP telephones and FTA TV satellite receivers are standard room facilities. IT support for guests with laptops is also complimentary. If required, a ground floor unit provides superior accommodation and easy access for reduced mobility guests. The hotel also features a high security French Kaba SF2E door locking system and guests are issued with a unique PIN code for their period of stay. A complimentary daily French breakfast with freshly baked croissants is served to guests in the hotel's comfortable petit salon or alternatively during the Summer, on the adajacent garden patio. Secure off-street parking is also available and guests will appreciate the option of a 12 midday check-out. Ideal as a first night romantic honeymoon stopover, the hotel accommodation is also available for block party or family bookings, while support services for small functions, conferences, corporate business meetings and weddings are also available.
