Our boutique hotel offers quality Christchurch bed and breakfast accommodation in a central city location. Christchurch is the gateway city for the South Island of New Zealand. Outside, large protected English trees add to the authentic old-world charm. Built in 1861, Eliza's Manor on Bealey historic B&B inn has for much of its life been a family home. Eliza's has a 4 Star Plus rating from Qualmark, which is New Zealand tourism's official mark of quality. Guest Rooms Eliza's Manor bed and breakfast hotel has eight guest rooms all with ensuite bathrooms, and service and attention to detail are a priority. All rooms have air conditioning and include telephone, local TV channels, tea and coffee making facilities, home made biscuits. Except for the Butlers room, all rooms are upstairs. Elevators were not around 140 years ago, so stairs it is! We have plenty of off-street parking. Also, there is a guest computer in the entrance area which allows free broadband access to the internet. If you are bringing your laptop with you, we have a wireless internet service available at a small cost. Breakfast The room tariff includes a full sideboard of fruits, cereals, yohgurts, juices, breads and toast, plus a choice of cooked breakfast, including such favourites as French Toast, Pancakes, Eggs Benedict and our famous Manor Works. Our guests rate this as the best breakfast in New Zealand which sees them through to dinner at night! The House Breakfast is available in our Breakfast Cafe from 7:00 am to 10 am Tuesday to Friday and from 7:30 am to 10 am on the weekend and Monday. Special arrangements can be made for earlier breakfasts if necessary. Functions and Weddings Add a touch of character to your conference, dinner, celebration, meeting or other event by holding it at Eliza's Manor on Bealey. From private dinners for a minimum of 24, conferences, theatre style presentations and cocktail parties - we are able to meet a wide range of needs. There is free off-street parking and accommodation is available for out of town delegates. Eliza's Manor on Bealey also provides the perfect setting for your complete Christchurch wedding. It is a venue for every season, with the secluded and spacious courtyard garden to the warm, magnificent indoor architecture. Eliza's Manor on Bealey has rooms for your pre-function drinks, wedding reception and a dance in the evening. The setting is beautiful for photographs - inside and out.
