Brighton By The Beach is your fun and relaxing home away from home. Newly renovated, our guesthouse is located in the heart of Christchurch’s activities and attractions,and whether it’s surfing, golf, chilling on the beach, or a brewery tour – it’s all here. We are also close to QEII Park, Australasia's largest aquatic facility and recreation centre. We offer single and double rooms at competitive rates.
At your request we will have a rental car ready for you upon your arrival at Christchurch airport.
Start your day off right with a complimentary breakfast, and finish it off by relaxing in the private courtyard offering up hammocks, barbeque, and a covered outdoor lounge and enjoy a FREE Happy Hour Drink.

2 Nights Hanmer Springs Package Hanmer Springs is an alpine village 1 1/2 hour drive from Christchurch. Soak up the thermal pools or indulge in a horse trek. Give the bungy a go or mountain bike through the stunning scenery.
2 Nights Akaroa day trip Package Akaroa is an old French settlement only a 1 1/2 hour drive from Christchurch. It boasts miniature Hector Dolphins who, if you play your cards right, will be more than happy take a swim with you! There are also plenty of tiny Blue Penguins to go round.

Upon arrival at Christchurch Airport we can arrange to have a car reserved for you to pick up and your room all ready for check in at our guesthouse just a 15 minute drive away. You’ll have the peace of mind of knowing your transport and accommodation is organized for you, golf courses booked and you have a schedule that’s flexible.
HOME STAY
We are also offering private home stays and long term accommodation for students and travelers looking to improve their English skills. We are an experienced Canadian-Kiwi couple with an extensive English teaching background. We have spent six years teaching at both private and public elementary schools in South Korea. We also gained experience working with adults at a general conversation level and a business level, while teaching the management team at L.G. Electronics and Hyundai Securities in Seoul.
We are located in the beach suburb of New Brighton, close to several golf courses, ESL Institutes and the beach.
