Airport Christchurch Motel is the most modern and has the highest Qualmark rating (Four Star plus) of any motel in the Airport area. We are not on any flight path and are in a quiet residential street. Our extremely quiet units have been designed with both corporate and family travellers in mind with the complex being made up of ten studios, three 1 bedroom and two 2 bedroom apartments providing affordable, luxury accommodation.
You are assured of a very warm welcome and a great nights sleep in our BEAUTIFULLY COMFORTABLE king or super-king beds. Many of our guests have made comments such as "the best beds we have slept in' or "slept better than in our bed at home".
ACCOMMODATION: 15 studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units feature such amenities as double glazing for both warmth and quietness, their own kitchen facilities, underfloor heating, heated mirrors in the bathrooms, DVD players with complimentary use of DVDs from Reception and 7 Sky TV channels. All our double beds are either king or super-king and singles are super king singles. Both cooked and continental breakfasts are available.
Our two bedroom apartments and two of our one bedroom units have full kitchens which include dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and a microwave plus a stereo system with a CD player. All units have high speed broadband access available at very reasonable rates.
LOCATION: On a very quiet street just 4 mins. from the airport, but not on any flightpath and just 3 mins. from State Highway 1. Close to Russley Golf Course, University of Canterbury, Riccarton Racecourse and adjacent to the Technology Park on Sir William Pickering Drive. Also located near a large number of rental car and camper-van companies. We are approx. 12 mins from the city by car and there is a bus stop at the gate to go into the city. Our standard rates include courtesy airport pick-up and drop-off, which we operate ourselves between 7am and 9.30pm Mon - Fri and 8am to 9.30pm Sat, Sun & Public Holidays. For those guests leaving prior to those times we will arrange the taxi and deduct $11 off their account. For those guests arriving after 9.30pm we ask that they get a taxi to the motel and we will either deduct $11 off the account or provide a complimentary Lite Continental breakfast for 2(value of $16) in lieu of the airport transfer.
