Hazelbank House is beautifully situated between Cambridge and Lake Karapiro, only 4.5 kms from each, and only 1 hour's drive to Rotorua and Waitomo. Newly built, our unique home provides a feeling of warmth and relaxation, and we go to great lengths to ensure that your stay with us is a memorable one. Enjoy refreshments on your arrival then settle yourselves in and enjoy your stay. Cambridge is renowned for its arts, crafts and antiques, and has a great variety of shops and several fashion boutiques. Dine at one of the many chic cafes or fine dining restaurants in town or on the outskirts of town. Cambridge is the Town of Trees and Champions, situated in the heart of the Waikato province, in the central North Island of New Zealand. It is well known for its equine industry and for its lush farmland. In addition to the many activities and attractions in Cambridge, Maungatautari Ecological Trust, Lake Karapiro, and Mystery Creek Event Center to name a few, several of the main tourist attractions in New Zealand are approximately one hours drive from Cambridge e.g. Waitomo, Rotorua, Tauranga, and Otorohanga, Raglan. Guest Accommodation and Facilities We have two Queen Guest rooms and one King single twin, each with an ensuite. Every room in our home has been designed for your comfort and privacy. We have designed our home to cater to the New Zealand life style of indoor/outdoor living and many of the dinners served in the summer are BBQs. Dining Room The large dining room caters for 8 diners. A continental and/or a hearty cooked breakfast is served every morning at a pre-arranged time. Lounge Our spacious, comfortable lounge has Sky TV and a DVD for your entertainment. Spa Pool Relax in the Spa pool after a days sight-seeing or sporting activities. Extras Dinner can be arranged upon request and consists of three courses of typical New Zealand fare served with a complimentary glass of wine or beer. The cost is $45.00 per person and bookings are essential. A substantial picnic lunch is also available on request for a cost of $18.00 pp. Bookings are essential. Golf 'Stay and Play' Package We also have a Stay and Play Golf package available to affiliated members. The tariff for a night's stay at Hazelbank House includes green fees for a round of golf at either Cambridge, Narrows, Lochiel or Tirau golf courses. Make a foursome for a golfing weekend. Cambridge has 17 Golf Courses within 30 minutes' drive from Hazelbank House. Three of them are within 10 minutes' drive. | ||||||
