"Woodside" is an 1877 historic homestay near Blenheim. This is an ideal base for exploring one of the world’s finest wine regions, the unspoiled paradise of the Marlborough Sounds and Blenheim and Picton.
Amble through tranquil park like gardens, under the majestic trees, and through the walnut grove. The meandering stream and abundance of birdlife and song complete the setting.
A private entrance off the wisteria clad veranda leads to a delightful ensuite bedroom and private sunroom leading through French doors to a garden sitting area looking out over a wonderful countryside and hill vista.
Your hosts have a background in food and wine (Philip is a chef). You will be warmly welcomed to "Woodside", and offered high quality dining in a relaxed environment.
Breakfast is never the same – fresh local produce is used and tailored to your taste - enjoy a delicious generous continental and/or cooked breakfast. Served in our country house kitchen or on the wisteria trimmed verandah, relaxed enjoyment is guaranteed.
