Overlooking a stunning waterfall yet only 25 mins North of Auckland and centrally positioned between the Kaipara and Hibiscus Coasts less than an hour from Auckland International Airport.
Waterfall lodge is the ideal romantic retreat the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the countryside in style whether for the weekend or for longer term.
Farmstay guests have the opportunity to experience New Zealand rural life combined with kiwi hospitality from the independence of the self contained stylish accommodation of Waterfall Lodge.
This is your home away from home, setup for convenient fun living. The kitchen is well equipped and many basic supplies are provided such as cooking oil, salt and pepper, coffee, tea,sugar etc.
Relax in front of our wood burning outdoor fire and pizza oven with views to the waterfall. Garnish your pizza base with your favorite topping or cook that tasty steak, toast the marshmellows, do some star gazing, all to the warmth of the cast iron outdoor oven.
Our farmstay guests love to meet and maybe feed the animals:
- lawn-mowing alpacas
- unusual self-shearing sheep with lambs,
- free range chickens,
- a free-flying shoulder-hugging crazy lorikete,
- white doves and their off-spring,
- goats and kids,
- cattle and our loveable dogs.
